Midde Ramulu (born 1941 - 25 November 2010) is an Indian folklore artist. He is a popular exponent of Oggu Katha. He was born in Hanmajipeta village of Vemulawada, Karimnagar.
Though, an illiterate, he developed his own style of script and Telangana dialect while telling stories through the traditional media of Oggu Katha and won accolades worldwide.
With the encouragement given by Dr. C. Narayan Reddy, who is also native of Hanmajipeta village, Ramulu strived hard to protect the traditional folk media through his style of story-telling of ancient epics and mythological stories.
Whether it's Renuka Yellamma katha, Mallamma katha, Gangagauri, Balanagamma or any other mythological story, he depicted all characters of the stories before the eyes of the spellbound audience with his style. He was also a member of the AP State Cultural Council.
